Cognitive Behavioral Therapy- Insomnia CBT-i is a first-line treatment that has been shown to be more effective than sleeping pills. It's often covered by health insurance plans and is a time-limited therapy, usually between 6-12 sessions. Your assessment can help you to understand more clearly the barriers to getting to sleep or staying asleep, and you can learn effective strategies to improve your sleep.
